About the job
The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing accounting and administrative duties. You will support our accounting and compliance departments by processing invoices, transactions, expenses, general ledger entries, analysis and reconciliation, compliance tasks as well as updating our database. This position will give you the opportunity to grow your accounting and compliance knowledge and experience.
Responsibilities
Process A/P invoices / Requisitions /Purchase orders
Perform administrative support functions
Update and maintain accounting and compliance database with data entry and reports
Assist in processing weekly check runs.
General ledger entries, reconciliation & analysis.
Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting.
Backup for Payroll processing.
Assist with subcontractors’ insurance and compliance tracking.
Additional accounting & compliance tasks as needed.

Education:
Bachelor's (Preferred)
Experience:
Accounting: 1 year (Preferred)
Microsoft Office: 1 year (Preferred)
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or 3+ years of working experience in a related field.
1+ years of experience working in Accounting, Construction experience preferred.
Must have knowledge in Microsoft Office 365 suite with advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Strong work ethic, ability to take initiative and to work independently or on a team
Highly detail-oriented with strong analytical, problem solving and organizational skills.
Ability to climb multiple flights.
