Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Preconstruction:

• Review and overlay multiple design team discipline drawings to identify variances or conflicts

• Set meeting agendas for design team review and discussion on potential solutions to conflicts found

• Review details against overall layouts and identify potential conflicts both within discipline and interdisciplinary design

• Review routing of duct/pipe paths relative to structural and architectural designs and identify potential issues

All items above will be reviewed with the Estimating Staff/General Superintendent to narrow down what needs to be presented to the design team and what can be resolved internally and with the trades.

MEP BIM Coordination / Project Management:

• Work with project management team to review subcontractor scopes of work relative to contract documents

• Create (dependent on project size) or Review Design Team Revit Models

• Assemble baseline model to inclusive of foundations/steel fabricator models/truss designer models for MEP Coordination

• Review baseline model in both Revit and Navisworks to identify clashes not previously seen in Preconstruction Process

• Meet with MEP/FP trades on weekly/bi-weekly basis for MEP Coordination. Includes participation of concrete/steel/wood framing/Roofing subcontractors as well

• Assemble RFI’s for design team responses

• Ensure equipment modeling is based on submitted products. Inquire about any additional information needed for coordination that may not be present on submittals

• During construction periodic visits to jobsites to review work as well as when requested by field staff to resolve issues that were not picked up in coordination
