Oak Bluffs Ferry Terminal

Delivery Method: Construction Management.

Type: Ground-up construction for a new ferry terminal to serve Martha’s Vineyard, Nantucket, and Woods Hole.

Challenges: Project challenges included an aggressive project schedule to meet the busy tourist season, a waterfront site and the necessary close coordination of a major building component that was directly integrated into the active reconstruction of the pier being built by another entity.

Client: A life-line to the islands year-round, the Steamship Authority is the largest ferry service to Martha’s Vineyard and Nantucket from Cape Cod.
